Weather Advisories In Effect For The Area

The National Weather Service has issues a hazardous weather outlook and special weather statement for northern Indiana.

Periods of snow can be expected during the day throughout the region. Accumulations of 1 to 3 inches may be possible on grassy areas, and slick road conditions could occur during heavier periods of snowfall.

The snow is expected to taper off later in the afternoon or in the evening. Those traveling should use caution and allot additional time to get to your destination.

NWS is also forecasting a slight chance of thunderstorms on Tuesday night. Strong winds with speeds up of 20 to 30 mph are expected to blow out of the southwest through Tuesday night and into Wednesday.

Kosciusko, Elkhart, Noble, Marshall, Fulton, Wabash, Whitley and Allen Counties are affected by these weather advisories.

The forecast for the Warsaw area is showing a high of 43 degrees on Tuesday and a high of 59 degrees on Wednesday. An 80 percent chance of precipitation is expected on Tuesday and Wednesday. A 30 percent chance of snow/rain is expected on Wednesday.
