David C. Miller, 33, New Paris, was airlifted to South Bend Memorial Hospital following a motorcycle-vehicle accident at 6:58 p.m. Friday, in New Paris.
The accident was on SR 15 north of CR 46. Miller was airlifted by Med-Flight.
The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department reports Kaitlyn A. VanDiepenbos, 19, Bourbon, was northbound on SR 15, when her vehicle approached Miller’s 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle. Miller was stopped facing north on SR 15 getting ready to turn into his driveway. VanDiepenbos passed the motorcycle on the left as he was starting to make the left turn, hitting the side of the motorcycle.
VanDiepenbos was issued a citation at the scene.
