Three Warsaw residents were taken into police custody Wednesday afternoon on a number of drug and theft charges following an investigation at the Economy Inn on Lake City Highway.

Warsaw Police accompanied the Indiana Department of Child Services to the Economy Inn where Janelle Hall, 23, and her brother, Nicholas Hall, 22, were located and had warrants for their arrests. In their hotel room were Janelle’s children along with “spice” and drug paraphernalia. DCS took protective custody of the children.

At the time of their arrests, officers observed an LG flat screen television that was similar to one that had been reported stolen in a burglary on Monday. Further investigation found that the television was stolen from a residence on West Winona Avenue in Warsaw.

Additional investigation and interviews produced a third suspect, 30-year-old Rodney Holloway, also of Warsaw.

Warsaw Police investigators were able to solve several recent burglaries and thefts with the apprehension of the three individuals. Besides the West Winona Avenue home burglary, detectives solved a recent burglary to Pizza King West and burglaries to the laundromat and convenience store in Oswego.

Attempted burglaries to Little Hawk’s Knives and Collectibles and the South Buffalo Street Laundromat were also resolved.

Investigators also found that Nicholas Hall and Holloway had broken into the abandoned Cigarettes Plus store on North Lake Street and stole copper that they scraped for cash. The Cigarettes Plus store burned in April 2013.

United States Postal Inspector’s also questioned the three regarding stolen mail from the Chapman Lake and Lincoln Park areas last November.

Nicholas Hall and Rodney Holloway have both been charged with Class B felony Residential Burglary, Burglary to a Business, and two counts each of Theft. Both are being held at the Kosciusko County Jail without bond.

Janelle Hall was charged with felony Theft and Receiving Stolen Property. She is being held on $2,000 surety bond.

Warsaw Police were assisted in their investigation by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, the Indiana Department of Child Services, the United States Postal Service and the Kosciusko County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
