The Board of Directors of Indiana Philanthropy Alliance (IPA) has elected two Kosciusko County foundation leaders as board officers for 2015. Suzie Light, Executive Director of Kosciusko County Community Foundation, was elected as IPA Board Chair. Rich Haddad, President of the K21 Health Foundation, was elected as IPA Board Treasurer.

Suzie Light began her work at the Kosciusko County Community Foundation in 1993 and was promoted to Executive Director in 1995. During Light’s tenure, Foundation assets have grown from just over $400,000 to over $50 million. Light serves on several nonprofit boards including Ancilla College, Orthopedic Capital Foundation and OrthoWorx. She is a member of Warsaw Kiwanis. In 2001, Light was named the Warsaw/Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce “Woman of the Year,” and in 2006, she was presented with IPA’s Hazelett Award for Leadership in Grantmaking.

Rich Haddad has been leading the K21 Health Foundation since his hiring in fall of 2006. He oversees all aspects of K21’s operations including the financial reporting, as well as overseeing the outside investment relationships hired to invest the foundation’s funds. He is the primary person to interact with community leaders and organizations in discovering and pursing ways that K21’s funds can be best granted into the community. Rich is also actively involved with several community committees and forums that have the purpose of promoting the improvement and advancement of Kosciusko County. He serves on the board of Warsaw Community Church and is a Warsaw Breakfast Optimist.
