Officers with Warsaw Police Department responded earlier today to a vehicle chase that began on US 30 and SR 15. The vehicle, described as a black Chrysler convertible, reportedly traveled westbound and through various county roads, allegedly reaching speeds over 100 mph.
The pursuit led back to Sheldon Street and CR 300 and went into Lowe’s parking lot continuing to Anchorage Road. The driver then traveled eastbound on US 30 then returned to SR 15 in the area of Arby’s where he exited a vehicle, jumped a fence and took off eastbound on foot. He was apprehended by police on Sunset Drive.
