Warsaw Police officers were in pursuit of a vehicle in Warsaw after the driver failed to stop for an unmarked squad car.
According to scanner traffic and police on scene, a WPD officer was attempting to stop the vehicle for an issue with the license plate. Three individuals jumped from the car and attempted to flee on foot, but were apprehended. The driver of the car, however, refused to stop but was observed by police throwing items from the vehicle window.
The pursuit began near the Village Pantry in Warsaw.
The subject was finally stopped near Country Club Road and Country Club Drive South and detained. Police on scene say two one-pot meth labs were found. One is in the vehicle and a second is near Pope and McClellan streets. The vehicle was also hot-wired and believed to be stolen.
Indiana State Police Clandestine team arrived on scene to dismantle the meth labs. At 4 p.m., Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory was called to the Country Club Drive South location to stand by as the meth lab was being dismantled.
