Milford Fire Department and Multi-Township EMS responded to an RV fire on SR 15 today around 9:40 a.m.
Milford Town Marshal Rich Miotto reported he saw the RV was traveling north on SR 15, and heard a loud explosion when it neared the intersection of SR 15 and Emeline Street. Miotto followed the RV observing smoke.
The unidentified driver pulled over and reportedly attempted to extinguish the flames with hand held fire extinguishers, but was unable to do so.
No one was reported injured in the fire.
New Paris Fire Department was called for a tanker assist.
The area was temporarily shut down to traffic.
