After a month-long investigation, Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers conducted an undercover purchase of marijuana in Milford Monday when the alleged drug dealer suddenly ran from the scene.
Undercover Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers were in Milford yesterday afternoon concluding the investigation with an arranged purchase of marijuana from Emmanuel Ryan Kwabena Collier, 30, of 409 W. Wolf Ave., Elkhart. Upon the conclusion of the purchase, Collier suddenly fled from officers on foot.
A short pursuit ended when Collier was tackled by Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department deputies. Collier was taken into custody and preliminarily charged with resisting/fleeing law enforcement and felony dealing in marijuana within 1,000 feet of school property.
Shauna Marie Ladig
Collier is currently in the Kosciusko County Jail on a prosecutorial hold.
Also arrested and charged with the same crimes was Shauna Marie Ladig, 23, of the same address. Ladig is also being held in the local jail on no bond.
The Kosciusko County Drug Task Force was also assisted in the investigation by the Milford Police Department, Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office and the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.
