Sign-Up and Annual Toys For Tots Kick Off In Warsaw

Screen Shot 2014-12-03 at 3.01.24 PMSign-ups for the annual Toys for Tots drive will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4 and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, at Warsaw Police Department located at 2191 E. Fort Wayne St.

Guests are asks to park along the side of the building and walk around to the back. Those signing up must have a photo identification of the parent signing up and a form of identification for each child, such as a Social Security Card or birth certificate.

Those who have signed up to receive help with any other agency, church or club cannot receive help from Toys For Tots. This ensures the maximum number of families can receive assistance this holiday season. This includes Angel Tree, Combined Community service, Salvation Army, Helping Hands, Shop with a Cop or any other assistance through a church or group.

Toys For Tots Drive

The annual Toys for Tots drive will be held downtown in Warsaw from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6. The event will take place at the Warsaw City Hall. The public is encouraged to stop by and drop off a toy or monetary donation during that time or at any other locations around the county

New, unwrapped toys will be collected until Monday, Dec. 15, or monetary donations may be mailed or dropped off at the Warsaw Police Department, 2191 E. Fort Wayne St., Warsaw, IN 46580 or donations made online at toysfortots.org/donate/Default.aspx designating Warsaw, IN or Kosciusko County, IN. Donations can also be mailed to Toys For Tots Foundation, 18251 Quantico Gateway Drive, Triangle, VA 22172-1776.

Delivery of toys will take place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, or until all gifts are delivered.

Drop off locations will be held at Martins, Menards, Wal-Mart, Big R, Renekers Sports Shop, State Farm on Detroit Street, Copper River, Zoyo’s, Dental Solutions, both Owen’s stores, Marsh Supermarket, CVS, Walgreens, Monteith Tire, all Dollar General stores, Family Video, Best Deal Auto, 1st Federal Savings Bank, Beacon Credit Union, City Hall, Warsaw Police Department, all Warsaw Community Schools, WRSW and Willie Radio Station.

Other locations outside of Warsaw include: CVS of North Webster and Syracuse; Dollar General Stores in Syracuse, Milford, Mentone and Pierceton; Lizards in Milford, Mutual Bank in Syracuse, Wawasee and Tippy Valley High Schools.
