The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a special weather statement to be in effect until 8 p.m. this evening for Kosciusko and Whitley counties.
According to the NWS, snow will continue to spread throughout northern Indiana late this afternoon and early this evening as an upper level disturbance tracks into the region. The accumulating snow will likely end around or shortly after midnight according to the NWS.
Additional showers and flurries are possible through daybreak. Snow accumulations will generally range between a half inch and two inches, which may cause some roads to become snow covered and slick. Drivers are advised to use caution when traveling this evening.
