Remember the days of the Soap Box Derby?
Recall those exciting times at the Kosciusko County Historical Society during its 49th annual dinner meeting, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, in the Center Lake Pavilion, Warsaw.
“History of the Soap Box Derby 1938-1963,” will be the program as guests will view Boice Films of the races and hear participants recalling the excitement of the event.
The evening will also include recognition of homestead award recipients, election of offices and drawing for a gift basket.
The cost for the dinner is $20 per person. Payment must be received by Oct. 18. The admission goes toward the cost of food, room rental, door prizes, speakers, entertainment, decorations and mailings.
Individuals can mail reservations with payment to Kosciusko Community Historical Society, P.O. Box 1071, Warsaw, IN 46581-1071 or bring it to the Kosciusko County Historical Society Old Jail Museum, corner of Indiana and Main Streets, Warsaw.
