The annual Scout’s Cubmobile Race is coming to Warsaw this weekend. Scouts from all over the Lincolnway District, including Cub Scout Pack 3731 from Warsaw, will be in downtown Warsaw on Sept. 20, racing their handmade race carts for trophies.
Scouts will be competing in different weight classes. Classes are: Flyweight (49 pounds and under), Bantamweight (50 To 59 pounds), Featherweight (60 To 69 pounds), Middleweight (70 To 79 pounds), Welterweight (80 to 89 pounds), Heavyweight (90 to 99 pounds) and Unlimited (100 pounds or more).
To make room for the races, several streets will be closed in downtown Warsaw from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Indiana Street from Main Street to north of Fort Wayne Street, Fort Wayne Street from Buffalo Street to Detroit Street, and Main Street from the fire station to High Street.
