Warsaw’s Central Park is already beginning to fill with blankets and chairs as the city prepares to welcome American rock band Blue Öyster Cult. The Classic Rock Concert begins at 6:30 p.m. with opening act Voyage.
Blue Öyster Cult was originally scheduled to headline last year’s Classic Rock Concert, but had to cancel due to a scheduling conflict.
Hailing from Long Island, N.Y., the band is best known for hard rock favorites such as “Don’t Fear The Reaper,” “Godzilla,” and “Burnin’ For You.”
Chicago-area band Voyage is scheduled as the opening act, beginning at 6:30 p.m. with Blue Öyster Cult taking the stage at 8 p.m. The event will take place at the Glover Pavilion at Central Park.
Admission and parking are both free for the event on a first-come first-serve basis.
