Syracuse/Wawasee Community Fund, a component fund of the Kosciusko County Community Foundation, recently announced three grants impacting the Syracuse area.
Baker Youth Club received $1,000 in support of its after-school mentoring and homework help program for Syracuse Elementary School students. Boomerang Backpacks received $1,000 in support of their weekend food program for low-income Syracuse Elementary School students. Wawasee High School received $300 in support of its ECO Challenge Summer Camp, providing high school credit in career-related classes during the summer.
Syracuse/Wawasee Community Fund provides support to educational and human services projects in the Syracuse area. The fund was established by Syracuse-area donors and is open to contributions from the public.
